Residential Services Coordinator

Job Summary
The Residential Coordinator plays a vital role in the smooth operation of our adolescent, residential treatment facility. The daily responsibilities associated with this position include scheduling direct care staff (nurses and mental health techs) and securing replacements for vacation, sick and call out coverage, maintaining appropriate staffing quotas, as well as the preparation of daily/monthly staffing sheets and attendance reports.

This position will also be responsible for providing administrative support to the facility's C.O.O by maintaining their daily calendar, responding to e-mails, scheduling events, handling staff communications for C.O.O, writing memos, submitting vendor invoices for payment and assisting our facility with providing high-quality care to our patients. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hospital or group home settings, possess excellent communication skills and possess experience performing staffing/scheduling duties in a healthcare environment. Experience in a psychiatric facility a huge plus!

Responsibilities

  • Support staff in delivering exceptional care to residents, ensuring their safety and well-being.
  • Coordinate daily operations of the facility, including scheduling, staffing, and resource allocation.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of staffing sheets, direct care staff's attendance and incidents.
  • Collaborate with families, healthcare professionals, and community resources to enhance resident care services.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant staffing standards within our facility.

Skills

  • Proven experience in scheduling staff in a healthcare environment.
  • Strong knowledge of operations management principles related to residential care facilities.
  • Financial acumen to manage budgets and resource allocation effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with patients, families, and staff.
  • Compassionate approach to caregiving with a strong commitment to enhancing the quality of care for our patients.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment while also demonstrating leadership capabilities.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
